Get ready, Shrewsbury — Santa needs new recruits! This Christmas, The Darwin invites little helpers to join the Calling All Elves workshop, a free interactive festive experience for families. From 10 to 23 December, the Lower Level will transform into a twinkling Elf Workshop packed with joy, laughter and Christmas cheer. It’s the perfect place to make magical memories together. The Experience: As soon as children step inside, they’ll feel the Christmas magic. Friendly elves will greet them and start their official elf training. Every 30-minute session bursts with energy, creativity and festive fun. Young helpers will: Take the Elf Oath – Learn the Elf’s Code of Conduct and discover what it means to spread kindness and Christmas spirit. Test the Toys – Step into the Toy Testing Zone and tick off items on the official Elf Checklist while trying out Santa’s latest inventions. Sort Santa’s Letters – Race against the clock in the Sorting Station to help deliver every message to the North Pole. Sing Along (optional) – End the session with a cheerful Christmas song or two, perfect for sharing smiles and laughter. The workshop space will sparkle with wooden fencing, Christmas trees and eco bunting. It’s a festive scene families will love — and it’s completely free to join.
