Weston Park have teamed up with the CultureKind Chinese Community to bring you a vibrant celebration to welcome in the Year of the Horse. Experience the magic of the Lantern Parade on Friday 20th February and immerse yourself in the beauty of the House ‘lit by lanterns.’ During February Half Term (16th – 20th February) we will be hosting Lantern Making activities in the Rose Paterson Art Gallery. You can bring your lanterns back to use in the Lantern Parade on 20th February. The House will also be open and will be ‘Lit by Lanterns’, giving visitors the chance to see the Collection in a whole new light. On Friday 20th February, the Lantern Parade will leave the Granary Courtyard and set off for the House, cascading colour and light through the Park, led by a traditional dancing dragon.
