Shropshire Libraries host Infant Feeding Peer Support Group sessions provided by trained peer supporters from Qube. They will offer support in the following areas: thinking about how to feed your baby; starting your breast / chest feeding journey; what to expect in the early days / weeks; expressing and storing milk; introducing solids; breast / chest feeding challenges; responsive feeding; returning to work / study; offering a non-biased listening ear and safe space; and giving the opportunity to meet other families who are going through the same experiences. Free sessions take place at Oswestry Library, usually on the fourth Wednesday of each month, from 10am to 12noon, and offer a warm and friendly welcome, plus light refreshments. Booking is not required; just pop along on the day, and feel free to take along any members of your support network, including siblings and older children.
