Shrewsbury Carer Peer Support Group (for people caring for those living with dementia) offers practical and emotional support for anyone caring for someone with or waiting for a dementia diagnosis. It provides an opportunity for carers to meet and chat, and to share experiences and information in a relaxed, safe and supportive setting. There are also occasional speakers on topics relevant to those caring for someone with a dementia diagnosis. Meetings are held in the Fellowship Room at St Giles’ Church on Wenlock Road, on the first Tuesday of each month, from 10.30am to 12noon.
