I provide a home from home setting, we go out in the community and other local groups. I provide a daily diary of what the children have been exploring, learning and developing whilst in my care. I plan the children’s next steps and follow a guided curriculum as a guide for the children to achieve this. I have a large playroom and large outdoor space providing age appropriate toys and activities, providing an all round learning environment to help the children develop and gain confidence ready for school. I visit various outdoor places, National Trust properties, soft play areas, local parks and toddler groups to involve the children in social interactions within the community. Local offer: I work closely with parents to ascertain the needs of all children, as all children are different and have individual needs. The area that I use for childminding is one level, I have a large play room and easy access into my property and my large outside area. I will work well with agencies regarding the welfare of the children to make sure that the children’s needs are met. I have experience with children with hearing impairment, I’m willing to do any extra training needed for any child in my care that needs extra support. I would have extended conversations with the parents to provide a safe learning environment and to cover the needs of the child.
