Pinc Woodlands College is an Independent Specialist College offering inspiring innovative study programmes on the border of Shropshire in Malpas 10 minutes from Whitchurch. Their Countryside and Wildlife campuses have a unique approach to education and pathways into employment for neurodivergent young people, aged 16-24 years old with an EHCP, to study Level 2 or Level 3 Diplomas. The campus gives students opportunities to collaborate with partners, enjoy workplace experiences and make connections to the local countryside and community. We are more than a typical college, our support for our students goes way beyond their studies and wellbeing. It helps them find pathways to further and Higher Education and careers in Environmental Conservation, Horticulture, Forestry, Wildlife and Ecology Sectors. At Pinc Woodlands we tailor our teaching strategies to help learning: we have shorter days and regular breaks, we use visual planner to help our students navigate the understand the project work, we use session goals to provide our students with step by step breakdowns of each task, and teaching takes place in small groups. Students attend Pinc Woodlands Campus 5 days per week from 10am to 2pm. Referral process: We welcome enquiries for students to attend Pinc Woodlands College through the enquiry form on the website. On receipt on an enquiry, the referrer will be contacted to arrange for the young person to have the opportunity for a visit to the campus or attend a Taster Day.
