We know that Christmas experiences can sometimes feel overwhelming, so Hoo Zoo have created a brand-new SEN-sational Santa and Mrs Claus session with families in mind. These calmer, smaller sessions are designed to be inclusive, supportive, and flexible so every child can enjoy the magic of Christmas in a way that works for them. What to expect: A warm welcome from the friendly Elf, who is Makaton trained and there to support your child throughout. A gentle walk through the Winter Wonderland, free from loud noises and sudden effects Meeting Santa, who is specially trained in supporting children with additional needs, at your child’s pace Every child will receive a small gift from Santa A relaxed storytime or singalong with Mrs Claus, which can be adapted depending on how the group is feeling Full-day admission to Hoo Zoo’s animals and dinosaurs included (10am–6pm), so you can take your time and enjoy the rest of the day as you wish.
