Ludlow Library hosts a Junior Writers’ Group for young people aged 8 to 11, led by writer Polly Shepherd, with an assistant writer. Sessions take place at Ludlow Library, from 10.30am to 12.30pm on selected Saturdays (as listed), and booking is essential via the Spark Young Writers website: 13 December 2025, 17 January 2026, 21 February 2026, 21 March 2026, 18 April 2026, 16 May 2026, and 20 June 2026. There is a charge of £10 per session, with free places available to those who receive free school meals or pupil premium funding at school.
