The Rushbury Apedale Amblers are walkers mainly from the four parishes of Apedale (Rushbury, Hope Bowdler, Eaton and Cardington). They aim to encourage people to explore and appreciate the local area, especially those who might not think of joining an organised walk but would enjoy some company. All ages, abilities and visitors to the area are welcome to join in. Stout footwear is recommended as paths and fields can become muddy at times. The Tuesday walk meet at Rushbury Village Hall at 9.45am, they seldom take more than an hour but they often find a place for coffee at the end of a walk! The two hour walk meet monthly on the second Sunday of the month at 1.50pm at different locations For more information, please contact Merle using the details provided.
