Shrewsbury Library hosts a Teen Writers’ Group for young people aged 12 to 16, led by writer Liz Lefroy, along with an assistant writer. Sessions take place at Shrewsbury Library on selected Saturdays (as shown), from 1.30am to 3.30pm, and booking is essential via the Spark Young Writers website: 08 November 2025, 06 December 2025, 10 January 2026, 31 January 2026, 28 February 2026, 21 March 2026, 25 April 2026, and 06 June 2026. There is a charge of £10 each when booked for all remaining sessions. Free places are available to those who receive free school meals or pupil premium funding at school.
