Our setting is a unique, family-run provision based on our working family farm, offering a truly home-from-home experience. With over 30 years of experience, we blend the nurturing, personal care of a childminder with the structure of a small, home-based nursery. Rooted in a child-centred ethos, we prioritise each child’s individual needs, interests, and rhythms. Our setting is primarily outdoors and nature-based, giving children the freedom to explore, learn, and grow in a rich natural environment. We understand the importance of strong relationships with parents and carers and pride ourselves on open communication, flexibility, and genuine partnerships, creating a supportive community where families feel deeply valued and involved.At our setting, we are committed to providing an inclusive, nurturing environment where all children, including those with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), are supported to thrive. Our experienced team is led by a qualified Level 3 Early Years SENCO who works closely with families, key persons, and outside professionals to ensure each child’s individual needs are understood and met. We create tailored support plans, use targeted strategies, and make thoughtful adaptations to activities and the environment to promote full participation and development. Our outdoor, nature-based approach offers a calming, sensory-rich experience, while our small, home-from-home setting allows for close relationships and consistent support.
