CPRE Shropshire, the countryside charity (formerly known as Campaign to Protect Rural England) acts to protect the countryside and the environment. The organisation is particularly involved with issues concerning new developments, wind turbines, rural roads, hedgerows, waterways and planning policies, and aims to develop better environmental understanding at all levels.
