Dog lovers – this one is for you! Weston Park have partnered with the Team at Visit Staffordshire to bring you the first Big Staffy Stroll on Saturday 18th July! The Big Staffy Stroll will celebrate the finale week of Staffordshire’s Staffy Trail – a sculpture trail that has seen 6ft Staffy’s scattered around the county. Bringing together dog lovers from across the county, their owners and families, it is set to be a great morning out in our 1,000 acres of wonderful. Open to all dog breeds, the walk will begin at 10am and will allow walkers to follow a guided walk through Weston’s stunning gardens and landscaped parkland. Visitors can also take part in a mini Staffy Trail, enjoy refreshments from the Granary Cafe and meet representatives from the Senior Staffy Club Dog Rescue – a local charity who will be sharing information about their work supporting older Staffordshire Bull Terriers. The Big Staffy Stroll marks the end of the 10-week Staffy Trail, delivered by the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) and Staffordshire County Council in collaboration with Making Trails. The event celebrates the success of the trail and Staffordshire’s visitor mascot, Staffy, who has been helping showcase the county’s attractions and places to explore.
