Many Shropshire towns have a food bank. They are run by volunteers and give out food which has been donated by the community. You will need to check the opening hours, as they tend to open for just a few hours per week. To use a food bank you will need a referral. There are many people who can issue food bank vouchers including health professionals, advice workers, housing associations and Shropshire Council. If you are not sure who to ask, please phone your local food bank and they will be able to help you. For more information, please follow the link to visit the Shropshire Larder website.
