Loggerheads and District Befrienders extend the hand of friendship to anyone over the age of eighteen who feels isolated, for whatever reason, or who might be temporarily housebound. They hold group outings and events such as coffee mornings (some including funmobility), silver diners, games and craft afternoons. The Befrienders are people who care and who are willing to telephone and or visit clients in their own home on a regular basis for a chat and a “cuppa”, and who will commit to contact as mutually agreed. The service covers Loggerheads and the surrounding district, and all befrienders have been DBS checked. There is no charge for the service and confidentiality is promised at all times. For more information, please use the contact details provided. Loggerheads and District Befrienders was awarded the Queens Award for Voluntary Service in 2016 (The MBE for voluntary groups). Loggerheads and District Befrienders is a registered charity (no: 1179850). We're sorry but <%= htmlWebpackPlugin.options.title %> doesn't work properly without JavaScript enabled.
