Mayfair Community Centre hosts a Crafty Folk group made up of creative people who make hand-crafted items to sell in aid of Mayfair. The group create items in their own time, and then meet to share creations, price them ready for sale, and enjoy chatting over a cup of tea or coffee. There is a stock of donated fabric and wool available for use, and the group can offer inspiration, advice and encouragement. The group meets in the Art Room at Mayfair Community Centre, on the first and third Monday of each month, between 10am and 12noon. New members are always very welcome.
