Deaf N Able is an organisation providing advice and support to deaf and hard of hearing people. They offer deaf awareness training at all levels including: coping with deafness through lipreading classes (online and face-to-face), (these classes are open to anyone who has a hearing loss or who wishes to understand and help a hearing impaired person), and deaf awareness classes for businesses who are concerned about the welfare of their workforce and customers. Deaf N Able also provide Tinnitus support group sessions, as well as input into the Effective Hearing Programme run by Shropshire Community Resource, and sessions to inform young people about hearing loss and its effects, and how to communicate with the deaf community.
