Highley and District Garden Club meets on the second Wednesday of every month. Meetings include speakers, slide-shows, demonstrations and competitions, together with a regular raffle. Plants are generally for sale. All club members meet for a Christmas-style lunch during mid January. Garden visits in and around the local area are arranged, and other social gatherings (strawberry teas, cheese and wine parties, etc.) take place during the year.
