Shropshire Domestic Abuse Service (SDAS) provide a variety of support to all victims of domestic violence aged 16 and over including:safe accommodation and support for those fleeing domestic violence;community-based support around risk, safety and practical issues as well as emotional support;recovery groups;facilitated peer support.They work in partnership with local agencies to enable victims / survivors to regain the strength and confidence to take control of their lives and to have a future free from abuse and fear. SDAS support individuals and families across the county of Shropshire.Services can be accessed online, by telephone, or via a face-to-face drop-in service made up of a range of community-based meeting points attended by a specialist Domestic Abuse Support Officer. Drop-ins run on a monthly timetable so people can see a Domestic Abuse Worker face-to-face if they wish. These drop-ins are open to anyone over 16 who needs information, support or advice about domestic abuse.
