The Patient Information Forum (PIF) is the independent UK membership body for people working in health information and support. PIF is a charity, with over 2,000 members from over 300 cross-sector organisations including the NHS, health charities, private sector, academia and patients. PIF helps its members to provide high-quality, clearly communicated, evidence-based healthcare information. The aim is to empower people to make informed decisions about their health and improve outcomes. The PIF TICK is the only UK-wide, quality mark for health information.
