Wem Town Hall is an exemplar community arts regeneration centre in Shropshire. Operated by the Charity Wem Town Hall Community Trust (WTHCT, Charity Number: 1113075) whose aims are to: provide facilities for the benefit of the inhabitants of the town of Wem and the surrounding area in relation to (i) the advancement of the education of the public in the arts (ii) the advancement of education and training generally and (iii) recreation or other leisure time occupation in the interest of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life for the public at large. Visitors can participate in events and opportunities in film, music, theatre and dance or pop in for coffee with friends or catch the latest exhibition. Throughout the year we host a wide variety of events. These range from meetings and conferences to civic functions and large scale celebratory events.
