Ironbridge Rowing Club (IRO) was founded in 1870 and is located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Rowing takes place on the River Severn with 2000m of continuous summer training water and up to 10km of continuous winter training water (river levels dependent). Our clubhouse was built in 1996 with funding from Sports England and the National Lottery and features a dedicated gym area with Ergos, Free Weights and Cages.
