The Market Drayton Ramblers’ Group offers walking for all ages. Although based in Market Drayton, the walks can take place in Shropshire, Cheshire, Wales, Staffordshire and Derbyshire. Weekly walks of various lengths, graded leisurely to strenuous are arranged on: Tuesday: 8km-10km / 5-6 miles; and Sunday: 11km-22km / 7-14 miles. There are also walks on the first Saturday of each month (which vary on each Programme), and during the summer months some walks are arranged for Wednesday evenings, which usually start from a pub and are fairly short in length. Booking is essential for Tuesday and Saturday walks, and must be made by contacting the relevant walk leader (please refer to the current Walks Programme by following the related link provided).
