If you have a learning disability, or know someone with a learning disability who might be interested in joining a local group, there are 300+ locations across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. This is a social Club that meets on alternate Wednesday evenings between 7pm and 9pm at Wistanstow Village Hall (near Craven Arms). They have over 50 members and attend regularly for a disco and social get together. They also run a Valentines Dance, June barbecue, coach outings and Christmas party. The members are drawn from all over south Shropshire coming from Longnor, Craven Arms, Leintwardine, Ludlow, Bishops Castle and Church Stretton. An attendance fee of £2 per head is charged at each meeting and further funds are raised both during the meetings and by separate fund raising events.
