Shrewsbury Food Hub is a volunteer-powered charity that stops food waste to protect the environment and strengthen the community. The Hub collects surplus food from shops, manufacturers and farms and shares it with local groups in and around Shrewsbury. As part of its mission and ongoing work in the community, the Hub also supports Foodshare tables across the town where everyone is welcome to collect a few bags of food to help stop food waste and stretch people’s budgets.
