Hospitality Action is the trade charity for the hospitality industry. They offer a range of services to past and present employees who work, or have worked within the hospitality industry in the UK for a period of 5 years or more. Their two main areas of support are financial assistance in the form of grants, plus advice and support to those with all other issues, via their 24/7Adviceline. For industry retirees, the charity offers membership of their Golden Friends scheme, where members can access financial assistance through a grants programme, receive regular communication from the charity, and support through a befriending service for those at risk of loneliness and isolation.
