The Newport branch of the Townswomen’s Guild is a small, friendly Guild, open to all women regardless of age, politics, race, or religion. They hold regular monthly meetings at the Cosy Hall in Water Lane, on the first Wednesday of each month, from 1pm to 3pm, to listen to speakers or to take part in activities such as quizzes, games or crafts. They also arrange outings and visits to other Guilds throughout the year. Visitors from other Guilds and new members are always most welcome.
