Shrewsbury Bowmen is a small company of archers who shoot outdoors at distances up to 100 yards. The club is aimed at more of the casual archer who wants to learn more about archery. They have a friendly and welcoming group of archers who are more than willing to help beginners, and run beginners courses during the summer by a qualified coach using club equipment. If you are interested in doing a beginners course during the summer please email the club.They are now permanently based at Prestfelde School in Shrewsbury, where they run both indoor and outdoor sessions. The new outdoor archery field is a private area and the school gym hall provides the venue for their indoor archery sessions, as follows: Indoor sessions are held during the winter months on Wednesday nights from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
