When You Wish Upon a Star aim to grant the ‘Wishes’ of children suffering from a life threatening illness, from the age of 4 to 17. They aim to bring a sparkle into their lives no matter how big or small. When You Wish Upon A Star deals with those other areas where a sick child’s wish actually becomes a reality in what may sadly be a short life. Wishes have the power to transform the lives of the children and families we work with. Wishes allow the family to put their child’s illness on hold as they have fun and create precious memories.
