The Sea Cadets equip young people with all the things they need to cope with and enjoy the big and changing world they’re going into, teaching life skills in an exciting way. Sea Cadets makes exploring the world and who you want to be safe and exciting, encouraging valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct, using a nautical theme based on the customs of the Royal Navy. Activities range between sailing, adventure training, first aid, cookery, mechanical and electrical engineering and The Sea Cadets are an Operating Authority for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
