Shropshire Scribes promotes the arts of calligraphy and lettering through talks, workshops, exhibitions and visits. A newsletter is also produced. The group covers all of Shropshire and extends into Mid Wales, and is aimed at anyone interested in the practice and promotion of calligraphy and lettering of high quality. Shropshire Scribes is affiliated to the Calligraphy and Lettering Arts Society.
