Renshaw’s Field Association is an independent charitable trust which was set up following the purchase of Renshaw’s Field in Clive. Renshaw’s Field was purchased in early 2015 by the Parish Council and residents of Clive; its name coming from the Renshaw family who previously owned the land. A working group was originally established to look at how to protect the field from development and keep it as a recreational space for the benefit of the whole community. This working group became Renshaw’s Field Association. The trust includes representatives of local organisations including the parish council, as well as local trustees & volunteers, to manage the land, which is now a much-loved community asset. The Field is used by the local school during term-time, and by the local and wider community as a recreational space; due to this there is a ‘No dogs’ allowed policy. The field can be booked for local events and celebrations or for parking (weather permitting). For more information and booking enquiries, please follow the link to their website, or use the contact details provided. Please note: The field can be booked for parking (weather dependant) for local events and celebrations at All Saints Church.
