Hadnall & District History Group is a local history group which meets to discuss aspects of local history and to record as much of that local history as they can. They have detailed and up-to-date interactive burial records for both Hadnall and Astley Churchyards which are available to view on their website. The Group meets at Hadnall Village Hall, usually on the last Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm (except July, August or December). They aim to have a planned programme of speakers, either invited from outside bodies, from the regular membership, or they may hold a “round-table” meeting where everyone can contribute to the topic being discussed. There is no membership fee, but attendance at meetings costs £2 per person, which includes tea / coffee and a biscuit, and everyone is most welcome.
