Bowbrook Allotment Community (BAC) opened in May 2009 and is located on Mytton Oak Road approximately three miles west of Shrewsbury, near the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. As well as 93 allotment plots, the site has areas for wildlife and planting to encourage beneficial insects, as well as orchards and seasonal flower beds. BAC received a National Lottery grant in 2019 to convert a plot into an area suitable for those with disabilities.
