The John Moore Quire provides performances at concerts, church services and workshops.Concerts combine the music sung from the west galleries of parish churches, together with some historical and anecdotal material from 1720 to 1850, and they are costumed to show what might have been worn in 1820 when John Moore of Wellington was born. The Quire meets monthly at the Birchmeadow Centre in Broseley on the third Sunday of each month, from 2pm to 4pm.The John Moore Quire is part of the umbrella organisation, The West Gallery Music Association (WGMA); a research and performance organisation which has much information about the music of the English parish church. For more information, please follow the link to visit the WGMA website, or contact the Quire using the details provided.
