The aim of the Society is to make practical scientific astronomy available to all and bring together all those who wish to share their enthusiasm. Their largest observing meetings are held at Rodington Village Hall on the western edge of Rodington village. There are also some local observing sessions for members at Little Ness Village Hall, near Shrewsbury.
