Whitchurch Walkers is a group for local people who are interested in walking and protecting the public footpaths and local rights of way. The group organises one half day Saturday afternoon ramble, of between 4 and 6 miles, and one all day Sunday ramble, of between 8 and 11 miles, per month throughout the year. Whitchurch Walkers also organise the Whitchurch Walking Festival which is usually held over the second full weekend of May. The Whitchurch Walkers have produced a walks booklet ’10 varied walks around Whitchurch, Shropshire and the Whitchurch Wheel’. The booklets are available at various outlets in the town, details can be found on the website. All the walks start from The Civic Centre, High Street, Whitchurch, SY13 1AX.
