Mercia and North Wales Area of NAFAS is one of the 21 area branches of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS). First formed in 1961, the branch now has Charitable Status, with the trustees and volunteers serving on the Area Committees all being members of Flower Clubs affiliated to the NAFAS Area. The Area is centred on Shropshire, but includes everywhere between the shores of mid and north Wales starting somewhere south of Aberystwyth, across as far as the western edges of the West Midlands, Staffordshire and Cheshire. The Clubs, demonstrators and speakers are all governed by the NAFAS Code of Practice. The Area holds courses and workshops for everyone, from complete beginners in flower arranging and those wishing to extend their skills. It also helps you to prepare for and attain qualifications in flower arranging / floral art, demonstrating, judging and speaking at both Area and National levels of NAFAS.
