Headway Shropshire is a registered charity, providing care, support, and rehabilitation to people with acquired brain injuries within Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and the surrounding areas. Their primary goal is to give people their lives back, offering them encouragement, rehabilitation, and support in the hope that they can eventually help them to return to living independently or enable them to participate in life as fully as possible, with the least amount of possible assistance. Headway also provide support, advice and information to carer’s, families, friends, and colleagues of people with a brain injury, and additionally we help, advise and support, health and social care professionals who may be supporting someone with a brain injury. Headway Shropshire’s Community Wellbeing Centre offers a choice of activities designed to enable individuals in building confidence, wellbeing and regaining independence post ABI.
