Rea Valley Riding for the Disabled offers people with disabilities the opportunity to benefit their health and well-being through riding. The group is based at Condover, and caters for a wide variety of riders of differing ages and abilities. There are two riding sessions a week during school terms led by a qualified instructor and supported by trained volunteer helpers. Volunteer helpers are always welcome and fulfil a range of roles – helping the riders to mount and dismount, leading the horses and ponies or walking alongside to ensure safety, boost confidence and provide encouragement. All volunteers are DBS checked.
