Ty Mawr is a country park and a small working farm which lies on the banks of the River Dee in the beautiful Vale of Llangollen, part of the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area out Outstanding Natural Beauty. Ty Mawr has all the fun of the farm in a magnificent setting beneath the arches of the Cefn Viaduct. Visitors can meet lots of animals at Ty Mawr such as donkeys, pigs, and goats. You can even feed our free range chickens and ducks or admire Carlos and Pedro the Llamas, who guard our sheep from foxes as you walk the circular route. Longer walks from Ty Mawr include a riverside pathway to the world heritage site at the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and the Cefn Heritage Trail. The visitor centre and picnic area have impressive wooden sculptures and children can enjoy the trim trail, BMX track or playground. Park is open all year round.
