Ironbridge Rowing Club (IRO) was founded in 1870 and is located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Rowing takes place on the River Severn with 2000m of continuous summer training water and up to 10km of continuous winter training water (river levels dependent). The clubhouse was built in 1996 and features a dedicated gym area with Ergos, Free Weights and Cages. At Ironbridge Rowing Club they offer the opportunity for all members to take part in rowing and sculling on a local, national and international level. They have mutliple squads including: Seniors and Masters Mens Squad (18 – 80+) Seniors and Masters Womens Squad (18 – 80+) Junior Mens and Womens Squad (13-18) Please contact the club if you are interested in joining or to learn more.
