All In Short Breaks - Cavalier Centre Pony Care (Much Wenlock)

The Cavalier Centre is home to Perry Riding for the Disabled. The activities on offer for children and young people with additional needs and disabilities allow them to be supported to access the sessions in an appropriate way. Pony care is an activity available under the All in programme, offering the opportunity for children and young people with SEND to develop a range of life skills whilst working alone and with others to care for the horses and ponies. Each participant will be treated as a valued member of the team and supported to learn the skills to develop confidence working with animals and progress a career path if they have an interest in equestrian care. This All In Activity is commissioned by The Actio Consortium on behalf of Shropshire Council. Please note: All new participants will need to complete a short assessment of capabilities to allow us to meet their needs best. This has to take place prior to booking any activities with us. Costs are subsidised and therefore The Cavalier Centres website displays full cost for activities. This is not what you will be charged upon booking. You may need to book some activities in blocks to guarantee your space.
Please note bookings may be limited to two per month at the subsidised rates when there is high demand. Families can continue to book additional sessions at the normal rates should you wish to access more opportunities with us.
