Severn Valley Donkey and Dog Rescue is a small charity which aims to relieve the suffering of donkeys and dogs in need of care and attention, and to provide rescue homes or other facilities for the reception, care and treatment of such animals.Based near Bridgnorth, the charity also helps children and young people with disabilities and behavioural issues, and members of the community who may benefit from animal therapy in particular with donkeys and dogs.In addition, they can provide donkeys (not riding donkeys) for fetes and other events, and their miniature donkeys are happy to walk into residential / nursing homes offering therapy visits to residents.Staff are also happy to visit schools or clubs to give a talk on donkey welfare.
