IPSEA is a registered charity (established in 1983) offering free and independent legally based information, advice and support to help get the right education for children and young people with all kinds of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The IPSEA provides information on: local authorities legal duties to assess and provide for children with special educational needs; exclusions of children with special needs/disabilities. The IPSEA also have free downloadable legal guides and resources available to parents and carers which are complemented by their free Advice line.
