Dementia UK is offering free, confidential clinic appointments with a specialist dementia nurse, known as an Admiral Nurse – coming to your local branch soon at Nationwide Oswestry branch from Tuesday 21st – Thursday 23rd July 2026. You don’t need to be a Nationwide customer. Everyone is welcome. This venture is a partnership between Nationwide and Dementia UK, offering free 45-minute appointments with a dementia specialist nurse in their branches across the UK and Wales. All appointments are confidential and will take place in a private space within the branch. The dementia specialist nurses (Admiral Nurses), can offer advice to anyone worried about their memory and advice to families and carers about dementia symptoms and progression. Guidance on how to support someone living with the condition and manage changes in behaviour. Advice on navigating the social care system and legal issues or simply provide emotional support to family carers To book your appointment, please visit dementiauk.org/nationwide, or speak to a Nationwide colleague in your branch.
