The Jayne Sargent Foundation runs a cancer support group which is available to anyone living with cancer in the Telford and Wrekin area, their carers and family.Friendly and informal group meetings take place on the top floor of Hazledine House on the last Tuesday of each month, from 11am to 1pm, providing a place to find support and understanding and to meet others who might share your concerns and feelings. They invite local health professionals to attend, as well as artists and interesting people who can help people live positively. They also have opportunities to try your hand at learning new skills like flower arranging and painting. There is no need to book, just pop come along on your own, with your partner, family member or friend and join them for a cup of tea and cake.The group also meet for lunch on the second Thursday of each month at the Euston Way restaurant, near the railway station, from 12pm.
