All Stretton Village Society is a small active committee focusing on preserving the quality of the village environment; caring for the well-being of the village community, and securing its legacy to future generations. The Committee meets regularly and aims to work in partnership with key agencies, organisations and communities; be knowledgeable and informed about the issues that impact on the village and the local area; and seeks to be inclusive, engaging and communicative to articulate a well considered village perspective. The Society produces a Welcome leaflet and an Annual Bulletin. The All Stretton History Group (a sub committee of the Society) has published “All Stretton History and Houses”, which includes a section on the War Memorial and the men whose names appear on it, and “Village Design Statement” with particular reference to unique features of All Stretton. For more information about the All Stretton Village Society or any of the publications, please contact the Society using the details provided. The Society celebrated its 50th birthday in 2023. It hosts a number of community events throughout the year, such as a New Year’s Eve party, promise auction, and village Olympics; some of which raise funds for charity.
