Activity Alliance is a national charity and leading voice for disabled people in sport and activity. The charity works closely with members, partners and supporters to drive change and influence disabled people’s activity, focussing on: Supporting: inclusion of more disabled people in sport and activity, Engaging: bringing knowledgeable people together with powerful insight, Improving: the way organisations think and act upon disabled people’s experiences, and Advocating: teaming up with partners and members to achieve fairness for disabled people. Disabled people participate in sport and activity less than non-disabled people and are also twice as likely to be inactive. Activity Alliance focus on two areas – changing attitudes towards disabled people in sport and activity and embedding inclusive practice into organisations.
