Whittington Under Fives (Oswestry)

We are a caring / friendly village pre-school with many staff who have worked at the setting for a number of years. We have large rooms where the children can choose from many stimulating activities. As well as accessing the school playground for outside play we also take advantage of our village facilities with visits to the castle and surrounding areas. We strive to make our setting accessible to all and are flexible to children’s needs. We work closely with the village school to aid the smooth transition for the children who will be moving on to them when they reach school age.We offer 24u funding, 3 & 4 year old 15 hours and the extended 30 hours term time only.Local offer: Whittington Under Fives welcome children and families of children with SEND. So far as reasonably practicable children with SEND who have a current EHCP (education health care plan) and requires 1 to 1 support will be accommodated in our setting, providing we can allocate a space within our current staff ratios or adjust our staffing levels to accommodate this. We work closely with the families of children with SEND to plan activities to support their need. We will support families, if needed, to complete any forms / paperwork they may need to complete to gain support for their child.
